Toffee Apple Crumpets

All the flavours of toffee apples without the broken teeth!  

If you have the time and inclination, you could try our home-made toffee apple crumpets

Preparation: 5 minutes Serves: 4
Cooking: 5 minutes Hot-buttered
Ingredients Quantity (metric) Quantity (imperial)
Apples, cored and sliced 4 4
Ground cinnamon 4 tsp 4 tsp
Muscovado sugar 4 tsp 4 tsp
Butter 20 g 0.7 oz
Caramel or toffee sauce 4 tbsp 4 tbsp


    1. Melt the butter in a large frying pan.        
    2. Add the ground cinnamon and sugar, and mix into the butter.                
    3. Add the apple slices and cook on a medium heat for two minutes
    4. Spoon onto the crumpets, add the toffee sauce and get stuck in.
