HOMEMADE Mushroom crumpets

Mushrooms 50 g 1.75 oz
Butter 10 g 0.35 oz
Salt and pepper Plenty Plenty


    • Peel or clean the mushrooms, then chop them quite roughly. They will be cut much more finely before adding them to the batter, but will dry out during cooking if cut too finely before then.
    • Melt the butter in a non-stick pan, add the mushrooms and salt and pepper and cook on a medium heat for about 5 minutes.
    • Remove from the pan and chop very finely.
    • Mix with the crumpet batter before cooking.
