HOMEMADE Hot cross crumpets

This recipe is apparently a big favourite of the Easter Bunny, so be sure to leave some out for her.

Preparation: 1 minute Serves: 4 crumpets
Cooking: 10 minutes Home-made
Ingredients Quantity (metric) Quantity (imperial)
Sultanas 2 tbsp 2 tbsp
Candied peel 2 tbsp 2 tbsp
Mixed spice 1 tsp 1 tsp
Ground cinnamon 1 tsp 1 tsp
Caster sugar 2 tsp 2 tsp



    • Chop the sultanas and candied peel, then mix all the ingredients with the crumpet batter before cooking. 
    • Decorate with all the artistic pzazz you can muster (we used butter cream).
