Crumpets with Crab and Avocado

Fresh, light and delicious!

We're not fans of brown crab meat (or of dressing our own crabs) but knock yourselves out if you are!

Preparation: 10 minutes Serves: 6 crumpets
Cooking: 10 minutes Cold-buttered crumpets
Ingredients Quantity (metric) Quantity (imperial)
White crab meat (prepared) 240 g 8.5 oz
Avocados (peeled, cored and finely chopped) 3 3
Red pepper (cored and finely chopped) 1 1
Red chilli pepper (cored and finely chopped) 1 1
Salted capers (rinsed) 2 tbsp 2 tbsp
Salt and pepper Not too much Not too much


      The toppings

      1. Mix everything together in a bowl. 

      The crumpets

      1. Stack on the ingredients.
      2. Perhaps a nice glass of Burgundy?
